Delivery Costs & Terms
Local delivery is free. Delivery is free with orders over £200 (applicable for business addresses only), A delivery charge of £12.50 is payable for orders under £200. (applicable for business addresses only), Private households will incur an additional delivery charge of £12.50 plus VAT on all orders due to the restrictions placed upon us by our couriers. Delivery charges for unusual orders may be agreed between H&S commercial components and you over the phone or via email. If nobody is available to accept the goods or the company is closed when the couriour company attemps delivery, In most cases the couriour company will charge us a redelivery charge which will be charged to the customer, This charge varies accordingley to whatever couriour is delivery your parcel / pallet. By placing your order over the telephone, you are entering a legally binding contract and are agreeing that you have read the Terms & Conditions before calling us. All goods have to be checked for damage before accepting them from the courier / delivery driver. As per the terms of our couriours when goods are accepted and signed for "received in good condition" any damage discovered is deemed to have occured after delivery. Any discrepancies i.e. shortfalls, damaged goods, incorrect items etc, must be notified to us in writing within 48 hours of receipt. Orders placed online from overseas customers who have not agreed delivery costs prior - Goods will be dispatched too the embassy in the uk of the customers invoice address.
If goods have been damaged during transit then please let us know promptly, ideally within 24 hrs of receipt of goods as we only have a short window of time to notify our couriers. so we can process a claim for damaged caused during transit.
If goods are found to be damaged after a signed receipt has been given, we are unable to accept the returned goods as per the terms and conditions of our couriers. Courier terms and conditions are available upon request
Cancellations and Returns
You can cancel your order at anytime up to 14 working days after the date of delivery. You do not have to give any reason for cancellation but a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer. Confirmation of your cancellation must be sent by e-mail, letter or fax, (Details are available on our web site) We must receive the goods within the 14 days, and goods must be returned in original packaging. All orders cancelled after we have received payment (this includes goods which may or may not have been dispatched), we will issue a refund but will deduct the card processing fee of 9% to cover the card terminal and/or Sage Pay fees (subject to a minimum £15.00 charge).
Items returned which have been supplied correctly as requested or ordered online, we will issue a credit note and a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted. Items which are special order are non-refundable.
If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered but the product has been painted or modify in any way, we will be unable to offer a refund.
Returns outside of the 14 day period must be authorised by us and accompanied with a HSCC Goods/Warranty Return Form.
Please note that you will also be responsible for the return carriage charges.
We cannot accept returns after 14 days has passed.
If you cancel your order after it has been dispatched from our stock, you must return the goods to us at your own expense to the following address:
H&S Commercial Components, Meldingscale Farm, Keasden, Clapham, North Yorkshire, LA2 8ET. Items dispatched from our suppliers warehouse are to be returned directly to them so please contact us to confirm which supplier is responsible for the return of the goods.
You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
If you fail to return the goods, we can collect and charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will not be able to accept these goods for credit or exchange.
On receipt of goods, you may be issued a credit note of all monies paid, minus any carriage charges that we have incurred with collecting and dispatching the items, this may take up to 30 days. Credit notes are only valid for a period of 90 days.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights e.g. if the goods are faulty or misdescribed. In the unlikely event this is the case please contact us as soon as possible by email or telephone on 01524 2 51434 so we can resolve the situation. We will deal with this matter in accordance with your legal rights.
Our Product is fully manufactured to OE specification.
Manufacturer's names, logos, and original part numbers are used for reference purpose only.
This Item is not a genuine part but a replacement and is perfectly interchangeable with the original.
